Who we are

Modulateapp uses the Modulate platform to run its business. This policy covers personal information handled through this site and our job, quoting and scheduling systems, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Contact details you give us (name, phone, email, address), details about the work you ask us to quote or do, payment records, and — for our staff — employment records like timesheets, licences and leave. We collect it directly from you through enquiry forms, phone, email, or in person.

Why we collect it

To quote, schedule and do the work; invoice and keep tax records; meet workplace safety and employment law obligations; and contact you about jobs. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for marketing you haven't asked for.

Storage & security

Information is stored on secured servers located in Australia, protected by access controls — staff only see what their role needs. We keep records as long as tax and legal obligations require, then remove them.

Access & correction

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it — contact us at Les@modulateapp.com.au. If you have a privacy concern we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
